Where the visit occurs during school time there will be no compulsory charge but voluntary contributions will be invited. However, if contributions do not make up a significant amount of the cost, the trip may not go ahead. Full charges may be levied for visits occurring out of school hours or for the board and lodging costs of any residential activity. Local visits permission slips are asked for generically at the start of school. Other trips will require a permission slip at the time it happens. For all trips a risk assessment is carried out prior to it taking place and you will be informed that your children are leaving the premises.
